DR. JOSHUA TABOR

This is my 22nd year in education. I spent 17 years teaching social studies, predominantly AP government and AP economics, and coaching volleyball and softball. The last five years, I had the pleasure of serving as a digital learning specialist in Denton ISD, where I worked with teachers integrating technology for more effective and engaging lessons. I currently support our Virtual Academy, helping teachers engage students in an online setting, and am part of the district esports committee working to build an esports presence in Denton ISD.

I have been married to my lovely wife, Amanda, for 20 years. She is the principal of Story Elementary in Allen. Our son, Braxton, is 11 and he constantly keeps us laughing. He is in 6th grade at Story this year. We have 4 furry children: Spock, Lucy, Aelin, and Faith who keep us on our toes as well. In my free time, I love spending time with family, playing video games, watching TV/movies, reading and working on our home.
