Welcome to my world

This is my 23rd year in education. I spent 17 years teaching social studies, predominantly AP government and AP economics, and coaching volleyball and softball. The last six years, I had the pleasure of serving as a digital learning specialist in Denton ISD, where I worked with teachers integrating technology for more effective and engaging lessons. I was also the district esports lead where I worked with district leaders and campus coaches to build an esports presence in Denton ISD.

I have been married to my lovely wife, Amanda, for 21 years. She is the Director of Elementary HR in Lewisville ISD. Our son, Braxton, is 12 and he constantly keeps us laughing. He is in 8th grade this year and having a great time. We have 5 furry children: Spock, Lucy, Aelin, Faith, and our newest member, Navi. In my free time, I love spending time with family, playing video games, watching TV/movies, reading and working on our home.
